Whether it’s a quick shower or a leisurely soak, fabulous bathroom surroundings are essential!
The Kartell range by Laufen, developed by Ludovica and Roberto Palomba, is a project that unites the best properties of two brands; Kartell contributes creativity and expertise in plastic objects, and Laufen, high quality and precision in ceramics. An extended Kartell by Laufen range was presented at ISH 2017, including elegant new washbasin vanity unit combinations, new decors for the floorstanding washbasin, new furniture elements, a rimless floorstanding WC-combination, and a free-standing bathtub.
All baths from The Albion Bath Company are created from the company’s unique Iso-enamel material. This self-reinforced, acrylic-free cast stone resin and mineral mixture gives Albion baths the closest possible match to original cast iron in both look and feel. However, an Albion bath weighs just one third of the weight of an equivalent cast iron bath. They also retain heat better, insulating the water for up to an hour more than the traditional models, and will happily stand up to all cleaning products.
The Tubby Torre Duo free standing bath tub is yet another addition to the popular range of Albion Tubby baths. The Tubby Torre Duo has their trademark integral plinth and gives you maximum bathing space in a compact length of 1500mm. It’s generous depth gives you deep, luxurious, sumptuous bathing without compromise – there isn’t any need to feel cramped in a Tubby!
Aqata has launched a new range, Design Solutions, offering maximum minimalism, with a reduced design that provides uninterrupted spans of 10mm toughened glass, creating a feeling of space and sublime five star luxury.
The new collection is the company’s most versatile range to date and can be almost entirely customised to suit individual preferences, with a choice of wall fixings, glass type, etched design and handle options to create a truly personalised design.
With Design Solutions, Aqata offers, for the first time, a choice of tinted glass in grey, bronze and green, for added warmth and individuality in the bathroom. Clear Plus glass is also available as an alternative to standard glass, providing a crystal-clear finish. Aqata’s wide choice of standard and bespoke etched glass designs offer further customisation, if desired.
Perfectly in tune with the trend for seamlessly integrated showering, the new collection from Abacus Bathrooms features a beautifully coordinated showering portfolio. Called Temptation, the range is led by two cutting-edge thermostatic shower controls in one and two outlet versions. The former caters for a single shower, while the latter allows a shower system that also diverts to a bath filler or hand-shower.
The Temptation shower mixer’s concealed design is sleek and comfortable to use with ergonomic handles that are easy to grip with wet hands. Highlights include the Temptation wall-mounted waterfall shower head, which has a blade-like waterfall spout. The Temptation Fluid Shower Column is an exposed model with a discreet diverter that flips between overhead and hand shower.
With the future in mind, Roca presents an exclusive vitreous china collection for those in the search for the extra mile. ‘Beyond’ (shown) is an urban proposal with sophisticated solutions for basins shaped by Roca’s new material Fineceramic®, and the latest technologies in the design of bathroom products. On the other side, Carmen pays tribute to the past with the redesign of an iconic model from Roca’s centenary history. The classical Carmen washbasin is coming back with a vintage style to become a new complete bathroom collection with the most advanced features such as rimless toilets.
The new Comtesse suite from Thomas Crapper & Co features sophisticated, curved lines with a nod to vintage glamour. Inspired by original designs from the 1920s, Comtesse has been re-mastered combining classic design with the best modern materials and techniques whilst maintaining the qualities unique to Thomas Crapper.
Crafted by experts from the highest quality ceramic, the WC pan is available with a low-level cistern creating the illusion of space when fitted with elegant wall brackets. The anti-splash roll around basin is made using one piece of ceramic, whilst creating the effect of an under-mounted basin, synonymous with 1920s design. Combined with the Original washstands, this suite works perfectly in any bathroom or toilet, even where space is at a premium.
Available in a range of two-toned ‘original’ glazes found in their archives, these include Sea Mist, Crème Anglaise and All White. Comtesse’s sleek silhouette provides an elegant look whilst introducing a soft touch of colour to the bathroom.
