Celebrating its 32nd year in the industry, kbb Birmingham, the largest and most established kitchen bedroom and bathroom event in the UK returns to the NEC, Birmingham from 4th-7th March 2018.

Following the success of last show’s theme, Future, kbb Birmingham will continue to predict forthcoming trends and challenges facing the UK KBB community – in association with content partners AMA Research. Aiming to bring you a world of innovation for a world of change, kbb will manifest four trends and challenges in each feature across the four-day show – providing the innovation, inspiration and insight necessary for businesses to grow.

This year’s four trends are: Society, Smart Technology, Disruption as Opportunity and Materiality.

Returning for kbb Birmingham 2018 are The Innovation Awards, held in partnership with Blum UK. Their aim is to discover and celebrate brands that are producing products, methods and ideas that align with our theme’s four trends – this in turn will help shape the future of the industry. The award entries will be judged by an esteemed panel of judges, including kbb’s Creative Director, Andy Bishop and National Sales and Marketing Manager for Blum UK, Matthew Walmsley. The winning products will be announced at the end of the first day at the show, so visitors will be able to cast an eye on the prize-winning innovations.

This year’s Retail & Design conference, hosted by kbbreview, will provide advice helping businesses to grow in an industry that is constantly changing. The discussions and panels will consist of topics such as: how to survive a recession and come out stronger, tips on using your data efficiently, keeping up with the latest colour and material trends according to Formica Group’s ‘Future Vision’ report, as well as constructive ‘how to’ brand solutions. More topics will be released closer to the event.

This year’s show will see the return of industry leading brands such as Franke, Italian kitchen designers Scavolini, Blanco, quality quartz manufacturers Caesarstone, Bora, British heritage brand Carron Phoenix, Impey, Sensio and Acquabella. Alongside these, kbb welcomes new brands to the NEC including Novy, pioneers of peripheral extraction, Smeg, returning to kbb after over 20 years, Cambria, leaders in design and innovation for natural stone production and Samsung, industry leaders in technology advancement.
